Tomorrow Morning, 5 AM!

Tomorrow Morning at 5 AM, we need a crowd of rowdy Pricks to be at Kino Stadium until 8 AM. KOLD will be airing brief clips live on its morning show. It’s early, but it’s for the love of our hometown team. Who’s in?!

Also, this Wednesday, the 22nd, we’re going to have a tailgate two hours before kickoff of the first game. Its BYOB/L (Bring Your Own Beer/Liquor) and Pot Luck style. We’ll post pictures once we’re at the lot. You’ll be able to find us with the Arizona and American flags that we’ll have flying.

I also wanted to take the time to re-post the letter we sent to every Prick. We haven’t had a large response for the Desert Cup pickup day, so I figured posting the letter on the website would be the best way to get a response.

First, thank you for your purchase of 2012 Desert Diamond Cup tickets. Your support of this tournament helps promote soccer spring training in our great city. You have made an investment in our pitch to be a hub for Major League Soccer. Secondly, welcome to the Cactus Pricks! Our organization is the official independent supporters group for FC Tucson, Tucson’s USL Premier Development League team. We have partnered with FC Tucson to provide a unique fan experience during the 2012 Desert Diamond Desert Cup.
Now, for the news you’ve been waiting for: ticket pick-up information. You will have three options for receiving your tickets prior to the first game on Wednesday, February 22.
  • Option 1: Sunday, February 19. Bob Dobb’s Bar & Grill. 2501 East 6th Street, 85716. 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Stick around to watch a match: FA Cup 5th Round. Liverpool v Brighton. (Facebook Event Link)
  • Option 2: Another location and time on Monday ???
  • Option 3: By appointment. Email thecactuspricks@gmail.com to arrange a time.
Scarves and membership cards are likely to arrive before Sunday, but it has not been guaranteed by our suppliers. Should scarves and/or membership cards not arrive, you will be given a token for redemption at the games.
